Triple Point

dedicated to XJW

when I rain
down from black comet heights
and solar wind
there you built
a dam to condense me

still, something spilled over.

when I vaporize
under bright rays of a corona
and infra red
there you became
a dew catcher to harvest me

still,  something evanesced.

when I freeze
atop the clay chiller of earth
and dead carbon
there you lit
a stove to melt me

but still
something fossilized.

before long
too little of me will be tenderfoot
will be unbroken
for me, once again
to blaze the sky among meteors
